after what has happened in this country this week, I have some rambling to do.  Bear with me.  First of all, the NRA needs to get a grip.  I'm sick and tired of hearing that we are guaranteed the right to bear arms every time some crazy person uses a gun to kill people.  Don't even start with me.  My brothers have guns; they hunt with them.  And for hunting purposes, there is absolutely no reason to use hollow point bullets.  Who needs those?  Really?  They are for one thing, and one thing only:  KILLING PEOPLE.  But, if you say they shouldn't be sold, the NRA jumps in with their lame ole' excuse.  So, when do bullets count in the whole bearing arms issue?  And buying them over the internet?  are you crazy? 

and the Supreme Court?  What did they gain with their ruling this week banning those late-term abortion procedures that are seldom used?  Nothing.  But, their language is ridiculous.  Women need saving from themselves?  We can't be allowed to make decisions we might regret later?  Who appoint those white old men as every woman's father?  Huh?  Just curious?  Do we women look like we need more daddies?  We women are doing just fine in the decision-making process thank you very much.

and notice:  it is men who go on these killing rampages, not women. 

oh, and then I read that within a year of graduating from college, women are making 10% less than men in the workforce, and within 10 years, we are making less than 70% of what a man makes?  What is with this world? 

Oh, that's right, women need to be protected from decisions that they might make.  Thanks Supreme Court.  Thanks George W. Idiot Bush.  Hopefully, every woman will remember what these idiots said when they vote for the next President of the USA.    Oh, maybe women should be protected from that decision as well?  I'm sure that can't be far behind.
